I want to thank the verified purchase reviewers!! I saw this product on Amazon’s Today’s Deals and had never heard of it. Upon reading through all of your reviews you convinced me to purchase the item. I do NOT fry foods at home and baking french fries or onion rings just doesn’t do it for me. Too dry! I used my Air Fryer today for the first time. I followed the instructions to make onion rings as my first attempt. Wow! I’m really blown away. The breading was crisp, the onions were hot and tasty! Exactly the same taste as if they were purchased from a restaurant deep fried! I’m truly baffled how they can replicate the taste with this machine. I do have to agree with the reviewer who commented on the size of the lettering on the knobs. I had to use a hand held magnifier to read the temperature settings, this is the only reason why I gave 4 stars not 5. I would NOT make your decision to purchase this item solely on the tiny lettering. Trust me, its the only negative on this unit!! Clean up was a breeze. Non-stick made it quick and easy. I pulled the handle from the unit, pushed the little button which released the basket from the solid basket it sits in, hot water and Dawn and both were spotless. I haven’t used the divider in the basket yet. The unit comes with a 2 year warranty which is more than most products provide. I would have liked a few more recipes in the little booklet that comes with it, they only provide 2. You can search the internet for more recipes or purchase an Air Fryer recipe book. One reviewer stated this fryer was noisy… I didn’t find mine noisy at all. I have a convection microwave and this fryer had a similar sound due to the convection fans. I found no problems with noise. I was pleased the machine did not generate any added heat in my kitchen. It’s all self-contained. Another reviewer commented the basket wasn’t very large. I find this 2-liter fryer to be plenty large enough for cooking for 2 or 3 people. It will easily hold 2-3 chicken breasts. It cooked a 13.5 oz bag of onion rings in 10 minutes, and that is a little more food than they recommend. And it cooked it to perfection. Another reviewer commented on a burning smell. When I first turned it on there was that “new” smell you get when a new appliance first heats up. It’s lasted maybe a minute and then was gone. All in all I am very pleased with this product. Again, the only reason for 4 stars is the very tiny lettering on the knobs otherwise this product is fantastic! I highly recommend it!

So far this works as advertised. It is easy o use and clean-up is painless. So far we’ve cooked frozen french fries, fresh cut french fries, frozen uncooked chicken strips, and tater tots. All turned out good enough to eat. They have a nice crispy outside and cooked through, but not the same as deep frying. All of the things we cooked took 5-10 minutes longer than the guide indicated, but still comparable to waiting for the deep fryer to heat up and cook the food in it. We’ll keep using this since it is much easier to clean up and the food is healthier for us.

I’m using this a lot, it’s fantastic. We’re on a limited diet, so fried foods are out. This air fryer gets meat, fish and potatoes nice and crispy. I found that when making something with breading, it’s a good idea to add a little olive oil in the dry batter (I use Panko a lot.). It makes really excellent fish and chips (I use cod). I made some chicken second joints marinated in buttermilk, dipped in flour, sprayed with cooking oil spray on both sides, and cooked for about 35 min. at 350. Really good results, very happy with this, and it was cheaper than the others. I just wish the numbers were bigger, I have to use a flashlight to see them-what’s up with that, Black & Decker?

Awesome product. We were able to once again enjoy a similar taste of fried food without the overwhelming impact of additional fats.Naturally there are differences but the benefits of this fryer definitely outweighs the small change in taste profile for us. It takes quite a bit of practice to get the food the way we like it but after quite awhile we got the hang of it. I think the biggest thing a buyer needs to remember is that this is not a small product and the cooking area is small but for it works well for a small family (or do multiple batches for bigger ones).
