This is a two-way
version of the traditional X10 lamp module. This
module has a ""soft-start"" feature. When an X10
signal is sent, the module will fade the lamp up
from the off setting. Traditional lamp modules
have always come on at full bright. The fade up
and down takes about two seconds. The second new
feature is that the new module remembers it's
last dimmed setting.
The X10 2-Way Lamp
Module are controlled using standard x10
commands. Once a command has been carried out,
the module will then respond with an
acknowledgement using a new code format. Any
failure of the device is communicated back to
the controller.
