A plug-in module for controlling
high-wattage, 220V appliances--such as water
heaters, air conditioners, some kitchen ranges,
and more. The HD243 plugs into a regular 220V
15A or 20A outlet and will control any 220V
appliance rated at 15A or less.
Activate your pool pump from your kitchen. Save
on electric bills by having your air conditioner
automatically turn off after you leave the house
then switch back on before you return. Even
start your washer or dryer with a phone call.
Automating heavy-duty appliances like these is a
breeze with X10 220V Appliance Module.
Just like standard 110V appliance modules, these
heavy-duty modules give you the power to
remotely control 220V appliances with any X10
controller, timer, phone transponder or computer
interface. They also respond to the ALL-OFF
command so you can turn off all your
X10-controlled appliances with a single button.
Note: 15 and 20 amp appliances have different
prong configurations. Use the pictures above to
help you choose the module that’s right for the
appliance you want to control.
Control air conditioners, dryers, hot water
heaters, hot tubs, pool pumps and other 220V
appliances
at
15
amp.
Responds to ALL OFF command
Plug 220-volt appliances into these modules then
plug the modules into a 220V outlet and you can
switch them on and off from any X10 transmitter
just like a regular 110V appliance module. Use
with an X10 timer to save energy or with an X10
telephone responder to control the device by
phone. The 15 and 20 amp modules have different
3-prong socket configurations, so look closely
at these pictures to determine which one is
right for you. For safety, this module does not
respond to the ALL LIGHTS ON command but does
respond to the ALL OFF command. Does not have
local manual control capabilities. Designed to
work only on single split-phase 110/220V or
120/240V systems, it will not work on 3 phase
systems as found in some industrial locations
and apartments. |
