White MBT sneaker – I was hoping this sneaker would give me a little more of a workout when I walk my dog or go out with my toddler, since I don’t feel I have a lot of time to workout in general. I did feel I got a little more of a workout, but not much. I think the white sneaker looks ok, but my husband says it looks a bit funny when I am standing around because my toes seem to point up. I notice that although I’ve only had the sneakers a couple of weeks, that there are horizontal creases in the cushy part of the shoe sole under the heel. I am going to watch to make sure it doesn’t deteriorate. I did watch the DVD. So, I think I am walking in them correctly. They are kind of fun to wear, but I doubt I would buy them again since I don’t really feel like they are adding that much to what I do in terms of getting a workout.

MBT Sport Low, Women’s 9.5 – I was nervous about getting this shoe because of 1) the price and 2) the elaborate “breaking in” instructions. I waited and researched for more than a year before finding this style and price at Zappos: The 365-day money-back guarantee convinced me it was time to “take the first step.” I’m glad I did! I’ve been wearing the shoes every day for 17 days now and find them very comfortable. I was cautious at first about wearing them too long, but after the second day I started wearing them all day to work and ’til 9:00pm at home with no ill effects. I definitely feel my calf, thigh and butt muscles working while I’m walking and even just standing. Can’t really tell if I’m getting any more toned, but my daughters seem to think so. We’ll see. I think they look nice but clunky, but several people have complimented me on their appearance, so go figure!

Still not sure if worth the price – I have to admit I haven’t walked in these enough to know if they deliver the promised results. But I do feel like they make me stand straighter and engage my muscles. I would recommend them more enthusiastically if they didn’t cost so much!

Good shoe – I bought an MBT sandal several months ago and it is so great for my problem feet that I was willing to pay that price for a winter pair. The only problem I find with this shoe is that the laces don’t stay tightly tied and need to be tightened every couple of hours or my heel slips. I have brought them with me to China where I knew I would need to walk a lot. I wear them every other day.

Nice! They are not very pretty but I really like my MBT shoes. They are extremely comfortable and I notice a reduction of impact in my back and knees when I take my regular walks with them. You can really feel how your leg muscles worked after wearing them for a period of time. I normally wear a 5 1/2 wide, on the Sport Low models, which are a little wider in the toes area than the women model; I can comfortably wear a size 6 without it feeling too big.

Everyday exercise – It is great to be able to work and exercise at the same time. They aren’t the greatest looking shoe but when you can kill 2 birds with one stone I say go for it!!! Just wish they were a little less pricey!

MBT: The only brand I can wear without arthritis pain! I LOVE MBT’s! This is my 5th pair! I have some really annoying arthritis pain in my left hip. With any other shoe, I hobble around. With MBT’s I can walk and walk and walk! The rolling action is wonderful. I can’t recommend this brand highly enough! Zappos is awesome!
